Dave & Paula Aiken
Chapter Directors/Couple of the Year

Members of GWRRA since 1989, Dave and Paula ride a 2001 yellow GoldWing with 2006 Champion Trike conversion.

After 26 years with the US Army, Dave retired as a Master Sergeant; and also is retired from Hercules, Inc. at Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant near DeSoto, KS. He now stays busy keeping up their 15 acre home site and working part time in his pest control business.

Paula is presently employed at the Douglas County Extension Office as a 4-H Program Assistant. She does after school programming in three Lawrence Elementary Schools and at the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club.

She previously taught second grade at Overbrook, KS for twenty years. Paula stays busy with her volunteer work with Head Start, Relay for Life, 4-H and church activities.
